It's with mixed emotions that we have decided it is time for us to change the way we are operating our business. At the time of this mailing we will no longer be accepting new wholesale orders. We are going to honor those we have now and will try to fill them in a timely manner. If you have the mind to you can pass on to those interested that for now we will try to keep our retail site and Etsy site operating. We have to see how well we manage this with a reduced workforce going forward.

It has been 36 years of the most remarkable life we could have ever dreamed and anyone. reading this has been a big part of that fairy tale. We go into retirement with having made countless memories and forming innumerable friendships. What a rich well of treasures we have to keep us company in our golden years. Counting ourselves as a member of the creative community and enjoying all the talent and personalities that go with that feeds the soul.

Thank you all. We simply need to give our aging bodies a break and enjoy taking care of our farm and family without the pressures of this enterprise we created. We are happy that two of our grandsons have joined us this last year and we have trained them and shared our lives with them so in the future you may see a new generation of talent emerge from our hive. We could not have done all this without the support of our community both here and everywhere there is a piece of our work that is being appreciated. This is a hard letter to write. We will miss many aspects of this world we've been a part of . The challenge of creating the business and watching it thrive was in itself addicting, then the networking done among fellow craftsmen and artists was always inspiring. We simply have been
blessed beyond expectations.

I don't have any alternatives to direct my buyers to but I expect there are those who will fill the void. I always said we have inspired many of spoon or wannabe spoon makers in our day. We will always answer the phone for anyone needing help or advice on a career in woodworking or the artist community in general.
